With the update in radio technology, many would think there would be no issues or challenges that many would encounter, however, there are still challenges that come with digital radio technology and requires many departments, agencies, and other companies to implement a plan should these types of challenges occur.

Some of the challenges that many will encounter is working in places such as valleys and gulches, heavily forested area, underground buildings, hospitals, and other commercialize buildings.
