Avoid the Area!!!

HFD and HPD responding to a report of a brush fire in the area of the 4-mile marker on Highway 250 (Kohala Mountain Road) in Kamuela, South Kohala.

Report of an acre of brush on fire in the area of the 4-mile marker on Highway 250 along the makai shoulder. Flames are visible at this time from throughout the South Kohala district.

That same area is the scene of another brush fire a few days ago.
