No Tsunami Threat to the Island of Hawaii following a magnitude 6.0 earthquake in the region of Loyalty Islands Wednesday evening (February 10th).

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reports a magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred in the region of the Loyalty Islands at 8:52 pm Hawaii Standard Time (HST) Wednesday evening (February 10th).

Based on all assessments completed by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC), Joint Australian Tsunami Warning Centre (ATWC), and United States Tsunami Warning Center (USTWC), There is NO TSUNAMI THREAT TO ISLAND AND STATE OF HAWAII, Again NO TSUNAMI THREAT.

This will be the only statement for this event unless further data is received.
