Earthquake Information Update for April 13th, 2019
United States Geological Survey (USGS) reports a 5.2 (Moment Magnitude) earthquake occurred in the area of Pu'unahulu, North Kona at 5:09 pm Hawaii Standard Time (HST).
West Hawaii residents reported moderate to strong shaking at the time of the earthquake. No damage or injuries have been reported at this time.
Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) reports that NO TSUNAMI THREAT FOR THE ISLAND AND STATE OF HAWAII. Again, NO TSUNAMI THREAT.
