Hawaii Island Traffic Incidents Update for November 25th, 2019

Emergency Crews on Hawaii Island responded to 19 different traffic incidents on Sunday, November 24th, 2019.

The Hawaii Fire Department (HFD) along with the Hawaii Police Department (HPD) responded to a total of 19 different traffic collisions around Hawaii Island on Sunday, November 24th, 2019.

Breakdown on the traffic incidents by district:

We highlight a few notable incidents that have occurred on Sunday on Hawaii Island.

  • The first incident occurred at 9:57 am Sunday morning on Kamaoa Road in Na'alehu. Details on the Incident, Please Click Here

  • The second incident at 10:50 am Sunday morning on Highway 19 at the intersection with Jardine Road in Laupahoehoe. Reports came in that a 3-vehicle (rear-end type) accident occurred and everyone was able to exit their vehicle and awaiting the arrival of emergency crews. No injuries were reported.

  • The third incident occurred at 3:35 pm Sunday afternoon on Government Beach Road approximately 1 mile down from Maku'u in Hawaiian Beaches. Reports came in a motorcyclist collided with a tree off of Government Beach Road and rider reported to have suffered serious injuries. The rider was transported to the Hilo Medical Center in Serious Condition.
