Synopsis:

Continuing through Thursday, the trade winds will continue to prevail over most parts of Hawaii Island bringing with some moderate to very breezy conditions along the Hāmākua Coast, Na’alehu, and upper North Hawai regions. The rest of the island will continue to see lighter winds prevail during the afternoon and evening hours. The return of the trades means we could see an increase in windward and mauka showers over the next few days, while the Kona Coast will continue to see its normal convective weather pattern, which will continue to see elevated humidity levels, making temperatures feel a lot warmer than forecasted and sticky conditions.

The Kona Coast will continue to see a typical convective weather pattern with mostly sunny in the morning, then partly sunny with isolated showers in the afternoon, some showers could be moderate in the upper elevations. East Hawaii will see mostly sunny with scattered showers in the morning, then mostly cloudy with showers likely in the afternoon. South Hawaii will see mostly sunny skies with scattered clouds and possible isolated/scattered showers in the afternoon. North Hawaii (including the mauka and makai sections of the South and North Kohala Districts) region will see mostly sunny in the morning then becoming partly sunny with scattered showers in the afternoon, some showers at the upper elevations could be moderate.
