The HIRSC Team is happy to announce that we are now working to expand the reach of scanner feed services to now include the Islands of Maui County.
Scanner Feed for Islands of Maui County Equipment has been ordered and delivered to the HIRSC Team, testing is currently underway in West Hawaii on Hawaii Island for the reception of the Maui County Regional P25 Public Safety System and working to determine the best location for feed equipment to be positioned and also the best software to handle the system as well.
Once all testing and also the location has been determined, the HIRSC Team has plans to move forward with getting a scanner feed online and will simulcast broadcast from the Calls Platform on Broadcastify into the traditional side of Broadcastify. Setup will be the same as the West Hawaii Scanner Feed uses today.
No exact date has been set to get this feed online, however, as we get closer to get this up and running, an official date will be announced in the coming weeks.
Targeting for Summer of 2021 (June or July 2021, official date TBD).
