Synopsis:
A more stable weather pattern has settled over the Island of Hawaii and the threat for thunderstorms has slightly diminished, however, the slight possibility for a pop-up thunderstorm to occur in the higher elevations is likely (particularly around Hu'umula/Saddle Regions of Maunakea, Maunaloa, and Hualālai) in the afternoon hours.
Winds around the Island of Hawaii in most areas will remain fairly light with the Laupāhoehoe and Na'alehu areas seeing breezy conditions with gust possibly reaching up to 22 mph.
East Hawaii (Includes South Hilo and Puna Districts):
Isolated to Scattered showers throughout East Hawaii, happening in the afternoon and early evening hours on Monday. Some areas will see mostly cloudy conditions.

Kurtistown: South-Southwest changing to East-Southeast up to 9 mph
Pāhoa: East-Southeast up to 8 mph
Hilo: South-Southwest up to 9 mph

Hāmākua Coast (North Hilo to Hāmākua Districts):

Laupāhoehoe: East-Southeast up to 16 mph and Gust up to 22 mph

Mostly Sunny Skies in the AM and Isolated to Scattered Showers in the afternoon hours, particularly in the mauka sections of North Hawaii Region. Some areas will see partly cloudy conditions.

Kapa'au: South-southeast up to 14 mph and Gust up to 18 mph
Kawaihae to Waikoloa Village: West to Northwest up to 8 mph
