The Hawaii Fire Department (HFD) along with the Hawaii Police Department (HPD) responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Henry Street fronting the Niumalu Marketplace in Kailua-Kona Monday evening (December 28th).
The initial call came in at 7:05 pm Monday evening and HFD Crews from the Kailua Fire Station along with HPD Officers from the Kona Patrol responded to the scene located on Henry Street near the signalized intersection of the new Niumalu Marketplace in Kailua-Kona.
Upon the arrival of emergency crews, reports came in from bystanders reporting a motorcyclist (described as a male in his 50s operating a 2018 Grey Kawasaki Motorcycle) had collided with a traffic signal post on Henry Street.
