The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
The island of Hawaii in Hawaii County
* Until 1100 PM HST.
* At 756 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over the Kona area. Rain
was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kailua-Kona, Captain Cook, Holualoa, Honalo, Kahaluu-Keauhou,
Kainaliu, Kealakekua, Kalaoa, Honaunau and Kona International
Airport.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone
to flooding.

This advisory may need to be extended beyond 1100 PM HST if flooding
persists.
