Pōhakuloa Training and Convoy Notice for March 2021

The following is an update on Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) military convoys scheduled for March.

March 12th to 23rd from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily departing from PTA to Kawaihae.

Please note there are multiple convoys during this period and the departure times are

staggered to avoid congestion. The military convoy leaders will pull over along safe,

straight portions of the roadways to allow motorists to pass safely and alleviate

congestion.

Motorists traveling along Highway 200 or Daniel K. Inouye Highway may also observe

dust from ongoing perimeter road maintenance at Bradshaw Army Airfield.

The PTA leadership appreciates the community’s understanding and patience during

these training periods.
