Pohakuloa Training and Convoy Notice for February 25th to 28th, 2020
Aerial Helicopter Gunnery and Close Air Support Training will be happening from Tuesday, February 25th to Friday, February 28th at Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA).
Convoy will be happening on Thursday, February 27th, 2020 between 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Anticipate Traffic delays/backups from Kawaihae to PTA.

This week there is aerial helicopter gunnery and close air support training at PTA. Heightened training dates areĀ 25-28 February between the hours of 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.Ā
Additionally, there are several new convoys planned from Kawaihae to PTA for 27 February between 8 a.m. and 12 Noon. Convoys will consist of approximately 10 vehicles each andĀ convoy leaders are advised to conduct pull-over drills throughout the convoy to PTA to avoid delaying residents and causing lengthy backups.
