From the US Army - Pōhakuloa Training Area (PTA) Public Affairs Office:

Prior to the monthly training and convoy advisory this Friday (30 October), we wanted to share updated training information for this week and the following week.

U.S. Marines are conducting their final live-fire exercise here from Oct. 27 to Nov 6, 2020. The training will increase in complexity each day, which means you may hear or feel training more each day. Training during the daytime hours is planned until Oct. 30. Training during daytime and nighttime hours, extending until 11:30 p.m., is planned Oct. 31 through Nov. 5. The culminating live-fire events for this training are planned for Nov. 6 involving several units and can be expected to be the highest level of training.

On behalf of Lt. Colonel JR Borce, Commander of Pohakuloa Training Area and Command Sgt. Maj. Will Gray, PTA Commander Sergeant Major, we thank the local community for your continued patience, understanding and as always, please call PTA Public Affairs with any questions.

For more information or questions, call PTA Public Affairs at 808-969-2411.
