Hawaii County Civil Defense is investigating an emergency siren malfunction that occurred in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision Thursday afternoon (November 12th).

This is a Siren malfunction message for Thursday, November 12.

There is no emergency in Hawaiian Paradise Park.

A warning siren located on Makuu Drive in Hawaiian Paradise Park malfunctioned early this afternoon.  A maintenance crew will run a diagnostic check on the siren to determine why it sounded.

I say again, there is no emergency in Hawaiian Paradise Park.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.
