Waimea Traffic Advisory for February 1st, 2020
The 27th annual Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival will be happening in Waimea (Kamuela) on Saturday, February 1st, 2020. Motorists traveling through Waimea on that day should anticipate traffic delays.
On Saturday, February 1st, 2020, the 27th annual Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival will be happening throughout Waimea (Kamuela) town that day. Events will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Events will be happening at the following venues:
Kamuela Hongwanji Mission
Parker Ranch Center
Kahilu Theatre and Town Hall
Church Row Park
Parker Ranch Historic Homes
During the event, an increase in vehicular and pedestrian traffic is expected and any motorist passing through Waimea town is asked to use caution while traveling through and to anticipate traffic delays.
For those who will be attending the events, there will be designated parking areas all over Waimea town and a free shuttle will be traveling throughout all the different venues. Please be aware some of the venues will have limited parking and attendees are asked to utilize the shuttle.
