Website Information Update for May 26th, 2019

A few progress updates on the projects behind the scenes

Aloha Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend.

As Ben mentioned in his comment yesterday, we are continuing to expand our database and make things work for our followers. Here's an update on what we have planned:

- As we mentioned back in April, we are expanding to Southern Utah and that is continuing to move along very quickly. Since we did add an additional few others to our team (volunteers) over the last few weeks, we going to make more additions to the database to now include Central Utah, Western and Central Colorado, Northern Arizona to our list beginning very soon. We plan on unveiling the full list in mid-June, so stay tuned for the official date.

New HIRSC Incident Log/Listing

- Our team continues to work on a incident report listing/notification system, as of this evening, work still continues, however our incident listing page/dispatch console (Image above) for our team uses is complete and we are working to post that list on our page. Database may glitch at times and we are still working out the details and formatting, so bear with us.

- Notification system mentioned above, our team is still testing out the notification system as it will tie in with our phone app. It's a very complicated process and we are currently working through the hurdles involved. We will update you once we are ready to release it.

Scanner Outage Notice:

Our West Hawaii Scanner will be going offline for regular maintenance and also equipment preparation for Hurricane Season starting on June 1st. Outages will occur on the following dates:

- May 27th, 2019 from 10:00 pm to 12:00 am May 28th, 2019 (Scanner Software Updates)

- May 28th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (New Antenna Restraint System Installation)

Please note, that will not be bring the scanner back online for major events during that time as it was preplanned and needs to be completed during that period.

Big Mahalo to our team again behind the scenes for the hard work and efforts to making our page and website successful as it is.

We also would like to thank our followers for your continued support as well, we truly couldn't do it without you folks.
