West Hawaii Scanner Feed Notice for April 29th, 2021
HIRSC Team will be conducting equipment upgrades and testing of the new scanner feed on April 29th and 30th, 2021.

HIRSC Team would like to advise our listeners and also followers of the West Hawaii Scanner Feed that the team will be completing scanner feed equipment upgrades and updates to software from:
Thursday, April 29th: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Sporadic Outages/Silence related to scanner feed external antenna upgrades
Safety equipment is installed and an additional antenna being installed to handle a new scanner feed coming in the near future.
Thursday, April 29th: 10:30 pm to 11:30 pm
Scanner Feed Software updates and also installation of internal components
Due to the high frequency of traffic being received and the system overload, additional equipment and components were needed and will be installed this evening.
Test of the Maui County system on Calls Platform.
Friday, April 30th: 8:00 am to 10:00 am
Feed Testing of Maui County System using the existing equipment for West Hawaii
Require the team to take the West Hawaii feed offline to conduct testing.

An update on the Maui County Scanner Feed will be provided in a statement on the status/progress of the feed later following the completion of testing.
